Backstory for Akmenos of the Infernal Takes place in the small village of Ketford
The Birthing Jude and Catherine were surprised to find that they would be having a child. "How can this be," Catherine shouted. She had finally decided to visit her local healer to see as to why she was having such horrible aches and pains for the past month. "Me and Jude have not even been intimate for a very long time." "I don't know what to tell you Miss Catherine, but you are going to be a mother. Even this baffles me," said the healer. Jude just sat there quietly. He knew why Catherine was pregnant. A month and half prior to the news Jude had ventured to meet with a man of the Infernal. He wasn't totally a bad man by character, but he loved to dabble in the Dark Arts, performing Satanic rituals, sacrificing animals and people to the Dark Lord. He was infertal, and so he took to prayer for a child. After months of praying to the deity Pelor with no result, he didn't know what to do.
After no luck from Pelor, he decided to seek out the man of the Dark Arts. He heard that he could make anything come true, but of course that there would be some consequence. So he traveled for three days to the man's house, leaving his wife with the knowledge that he was going hunting for a while. On the third night he reached the man's door and just as he was about to knock, the door swung open revealing a naked man with all sorts of insignias and scars, drawn in the shapes of pentagrams and other runic symbols. "I know why it is you're here, my son," the man whispered rasply. "Come in, I have already prepared the ceremony." Jude walked into the cabin which was lit only by what seemed to be hundreds of candles surronding the walls. "Can you really do it? Can you really bare my wife a child," Jude asked. "Of cooouuurrssseee I can't, but the Dark Lord will, with the proper sacrifice, that is," the man said as he circled his drawing on the floor. "There is only one thing I am missing to complete the ritual," said the man. "What! What is it! I'll do anything for my wife to bare the child she's always wanted," Jude excalimed, not knowing what he was going to get himself into. "I am missing a sacrifice. Hmmmm, but where ever shall I find one," the man said, tapping his head as he looked toward the ceilling. "I-i-i'll do it," Jude mumbled. "Ahhh, how noble a man you are! Don't worry, it won't hurt...for long. And my Lord will ressurect you, but your soul will belong to Him. And when your time comes, you will spend the rest of your days slaving for Him. Is this what you want?" The man turned to a table near him and grabbed the ceremonial blade. "Yes," Jude said,"anything for my wife." The man pointed toward the center of the circle, gesturing for Jude to step inside. He turned back toward the table and grabbed a book. First he traced the marks around his body with the blade, opening already closed wounds, and creating new ones as he stepped toward Jude, reading the incantation. Once he finished, he slammed the book shut, and without notice the blade found its mark on Jude's throat.
Jude snapped back from the daydream. "Honey? Honey are you alright," Catherine asked. "Yes, I'm fine. Maybe the gods have finally heard our calls for a child?" The healer looked at them both, "Yes, that could be it! You two have been blessed with a child of Pelor!" Catherine screamed in excitement, "Oh Jude! What an honor!" "Yes dear, quite the honor it shall be..."
After months of pregnancy the day had finally come when Catherine was ready to give birth to her child. Her and Jude rushed over to the healer's house by wagon, and bust through the door. "Healer! Catherine is ready!" The healer was just about to take the first bite of his dinner. "Ok, put her there on the bed." Jude layed her down. "Beth," yelled the healer,"grab the birthing tools!" A few seconds later a short stalked woman came rushing into the room with a leather bag. Jude decided to wait outside as his wife went through labor. Several hours passed, when finally the healer came outside and told Jude the baby was delivered without complication. Jude went inside to see Catherine holding what seemed to be a wad of blankets. "I don't know what Pelor is asking by sending us this child, but I will love it with all my heart." Jude asked to see the baby. He couldn't believe his eyes. There it was. A boy. A baby boy. With horns. And a tail. He felt horrible.
Early Years The young boy grew up without much problem. He was accepted into the village and everyone actually liked his company. He was very popular amongst the young maidens, whom he would chase around and flirt with almost the whole day, and of course he had male friends too, which he would challenge to competitions of strength and speed. One day as he was about with one of the girls, the village was attacked by a group of marauders. They were evil men on horseback known through the lands by the name of The Chaos Crusade. Akmenos told the girl to run home, and she did. He himself ran back to his home, took to his quarters, and grabbed the blade that his father had given him for his 18th birthday. Most of his friends were out in the square already when he got there, ready to bare arms against the marauders. Fathers took spots amongst the roofs of their houses with either blades to surprise from the back, or bows to rain arrows. The Crusade didn't even stop once they reached the first stone street of the village. They continued to the square blades in hand, screaming. The boys gathered up the last of their courage and rushed the men. It was a feeble attempt. As soon as they made contact, two of Akmen's friends took swords to the arms, disabling them. Akmenos stood in the fray swinging away at the marauders, and suddenly he took a shot to stomach with a hilt from one their blades. He was on the floor, a bad place to be amongst horses. He tumbled away though, and got back on his feet ready for a second charge. He ran into the fray again only to be met with the sharp side of a blade this time. He took a stab to the stomach, and was bleeding bad. Suddenly he blacked out. His body rose to its feet, even another twenty off the ground. He spread his arms and tilted his head back, the blood from his wound surging a bright red. The fighting had stopped between the villagers and the marauders and everyone faced him in awe. He brought his head forward and stared right into the fray, his eyes glowing a bright red. "Efermi hasd not lokk jast fremt TOKIM!" The marauders eyes gleamed the same red as Akmen's, and within seconds of his last word's, all the marauders heads exploded into bits of brain, blood, and flesh. Akmenos fell from the trance and dropped back to the earth. Everyone was astonsihed. Should they be scared, or should they embrace him as a hero? His father ran to his side. "Akmenos! Wake up! SON! Please!" He kneeled there cradling his son, tears dropping from his face. Akmen's eyes began to flutter open. "F-f-fa-father? Are they gone now," he whispered weakly. "Yes son," he said still sobbing, "they are."
Later years Now in his twenties, Akmenos is traveling on his way to see the great King Arthur. "Akmenos, you have a special gift. You should see if the great King could use your assistance in this time of peril." He remembered his mom and dad talking to him about it two years after the incident with the marauders. He had finally thought it through. He didn't feel he had a place in the village anymore. Everyone there was terrified of him. They either pretended to be very nice to him, or would just avoid him altogether. Not that anyone didn't like him, they just feared what the consequences would be for getting on his bad side. He didn't know how to control powers yet fully. When he would fall asleep dreams of devils and others that looked like him would pass his mind, displaying wonderful feats of spellcasting and dark arts. He would venture into the nearby woods to to practice on wild game, exclaiming the words he heard in his dreams. As he practiced he became better in control of them, but still he felt the power was too much for him to handle without the proper training. So his father spoke to him before he set off. He told him about the man he went to, but didn't tell him why. So Akmenos on his way to Arthur's kingdom, decided to stop by the Dark man's house. He stood there for two years training with the man in the ways of the warlock, as he finally learned the name of his ability, and learned to handle his powers a lot better. So after his training he set back to find Arthur's castle.
On his way there though while traveling through Northshire woods, he was overcome by drow and taken prisoner underground. Days and weeks had gone by until one fateful day a few adventurers saved him from the grasp of the evil elf menace. He joined them on the rest of their journey not knowing how to repay them for their kindness, but figured lending his abilities would be a fair enough payment. Once they reached the kingdom of Arthur, Akmenos was to intimidated to actually face the king. So he decided to show his way around the city and find points of interest. Akmenos was taken by the Dragonborn and Wizard to the castle the next day, but didn't know what for. He just sat outside the room in which they had entered and once they finished they left the castle and found that they would be engaging on another quest. Akmenos only wonderd what would be in store for him.

Yeah, demanding xp from the DM is always a great idea. Should use more swear words next time though.
Oh and Phil. You fail.

Negative experience for making more work for the DM, and a slow, drawn-out, painful demise for your character for begging.
