Kyle - I know you usually bike to school, but if you want to borrow primal power just PM me and i can arrange a time to drop it off or have you pick it up.
OR - since you don't have the book Kyle, you can just play it out with your current build now, and change the build later. Basically you have a free pass this sunday if you want it since the next session after this sunday won't be for two weeks.

Cool Phil, no problems. I'll build one for now and then I'll have a look at Primal power either in store on Sunday or when the update happens.
Also, will you allow Wilden characters? I am considering that as a character. They are previewed in Dragon #374, and their rules are up on char. builder.

i'll allow wilden, but you will automatically be from the Cainwyn forest, if you do so.
The forest expands many many different areas and covers almost 1/3rd of the land.

Cool. Then I think I have my character. Is it okay then if I take the Geography - Forest background bonus to nature skill?

Generally, I forego the background bonuses and give you an option based on your written background. But yeah, you can go with nature if you want.

Do any Deva have a place in Karnth?

Devas always have a place. But they are not numerous enough to have a home town or anything. They don't reproduce and there are very few due to the conditions that they exist (dragon magazine article, ecology of the deva). However they are revered amongst certain societies within nations and some are advisers within certain circles.
Other races that weren't fully mentioned will be put up later this week. Warforged are a very limited race in this world as well.
Brief overviews/General backgrounds for races:
Elf/Eladrin/Gnome/Shifter - Nation of Cainwyn mostly, there are small societies in Fal'kith, and some shifters take there places in the mountains or storm lands.
Human/Tiefling - Humans are generally in most nations, tieflings usually stay in Fal'Kith as that is where their race was formed.
Goliath/Dwarves/Half-Orcs/Dragonborn - Kelsier's Nations. Some societies of goliaths/dragonborn in the deeper wilds of the Cainyn forests. Half-orcs are also found in the storm lands.
Warforged - A result of the shattering war and the new Iron Plague. Very few, but are highly sought after as tools of war during the shaky time of the current treaty. Can be found in many places but are not very numerous (talking maybe about a few thousand spread across the entire world).
Wilden - Wilden were born in the Cainwyn forests and have been accepted by the nation of Cainwyn. They have not brought themselves together in a large society though, and have not even established any minor houses in Cainwyn.
Deva - Usually seen as wandering myths, very few deva roam about. They travel to each nation during their life times, but once they die and are reborn usually travel elsewhere, experiencing the world as they please.

Okay, I've got my guy nailed down. I will be playing, Sunday, as Rook, a Warforged Warden.
I couldn't bring myself to liking the Barbarian, at least not in its present form, but I wanted to play a Primal class so the Warden seemed the way to go. You have no idea how many times I kept going back to the Avenger or Avenger|Swordmage hybrid.
Will Mike be joining us Sunday, does anyone know? Hopefully he brings some firepower.

Mike claimed the Warden last sunday IIRC - Kyle said he was going shaman, jp said he was going druid, mike said he was going warden. Robert didn't wanna do Barb, lol. they were discussing a complete primal group, haha. My lvl 8 Warforged stormheart warden build did 1d8 brutal 1 + 23, that's greater than most striker damage on avg. so lvl 6... should be +21 dmg... +5 str +2 enh +1 feat +2 iron armbands +1 versatile weapon +4 (Crippling Crush feat) +6 (Bloodclaw)

Phil, are you suggesting I pick something different? I definitely want to use Primal Power for a revamp on the 15th but was going to use what is available for now.
Let me know.
Edit: Disregard; topic addressed.
