Indeed. Glad to hear you liked it. If you have any questions concerning Keira's backstory or the elements that I wrote down, feel free to shoot me a PM and I would be happy to answer them.
Also, you may as well erase the first background I sent and keep the five steps one, since that covers the basics of her backstory, among other things.

I can't seem to remember if you answered this already or not.
Do you want to see a wishlist for our characters, and if so, what are the limits on said list?

I did not request wishlists. You may submit one, if you desire. I will put the items into consideration. The maximum rarity/level item you could reasonably "wish" for is an uncommon item equal to your level + 3.

Joseph Endal (I realize Kyle only used my real name as a placeholder, but fuck it. It's a good name. I think I'll keep it!)
The Endal family has a long standing reputation of honor and just rule. They are one of the less wealthy Noble Families and their economy is entirely agricultural though small limiting the amount of wealth they are able to bring in. However, the people of the land have much admiration and respect for the House of Endal due to how well the Endals have treated and protected them. The Endal family takes great pride in making sure the people of their lands are treated very well and go to great lengths to protect their territory from the influence of national politics. They don't ask much from the Lord of Haven, they pay their dues, and keep to themselves. As a result they tend to not trust visitors to their lands for fear of upsetting their well balanced society.
Joseph Endal is the oldest of two brothers. His mother, Mary and Father Jeremiah have ruled for 30 years now. His brother, Daniel, is two years younger and the two brothers have a very good relationship. Three years ago there was great celebration Joseph took a wife, Alina Arichmount. Mary and Jeremiah were especially excited because the House of Arichmount is one that has been an ally of the Endals for a long time. One of the few as the House of Endals refusal to participate in most national matters has caused many of the other nobles to consider them beneath their notice.
One year ago the peace and quiet of the Endal territory was disrupted by a marauding band of orcs that seemed to move with blitzkrieg-like speed and strength. They seemed to move with as a well organized machine unlike anything ever seen from orcs before. The Endal House feared a greater power was at work directing the orc assaults on their farms and citizens. There was no time to call for help; Joseph was forced to gather their meager forces and form a counter assault. Daniel stayed behind to manage the estate defense where many of the country folk were being allowed to take refuge.
The battle against the orcs was a bloody and vicious one. Joseph was a fearless general and gradually pushed back the orc marauders to the border at the edge of the Darkmyst Forest. These forests are strictly avoided by citizens of Haven due to it's unnatural darkness even on the brightest day. During all seasons throughout the year a supernatural myst seems to boil out from the trees. Despite the superstition surrounding the forest, Joseph saw that many orcs still lived and he had yet to find the source of their power and organization. He had no choice but to press on.
For 6 long days no one heard or saw any sign of either Joseph, his army, or the orcs. For fear of a backdoor assault Daniel was not allowed to form a search party and go looking for him. Fortunately on the sixth day, Joseph emerged from the forest alone, battered and bloody, a sullen look on his face. Upon entering the family estate he announced that the orcs had been lead by a powerful sorcerer and that he had defeated not only all of the orcs, but the sorcerer as well. However, the sorcerer's power was great and fearsome and no other survived. His first lieutenant died along with the last of his soldiers creating a diversion that allowed Joseph to penetrate the Sorcerer's defenses plunging both his swords deep into his back.
A memorial for the dead soldiers was erected and Joseph was celebrated as a hero, but his usual joyfoul demeanor was gone. He sulked and was generally unresponsive to attempts to engage him in conversation. He refused to speak more about what happened in the Darkmyst Forest. Alina and his family constantly pleaded with him to forgive himself for the death of his troops, but it was of no use; Joseph refused to listen to reason. He and his wife fought often as he grew more and more distant, until one day Joseph disappeared from the Endal Territory.
Joseph snuck out late in the evening one night and under the cloak of darkness now travels the lands of Haven alone. There are reports of a monster hunter who brings in bounties set by nobles for the heads of various evil beasts and rogue mages. He protects his identity meticulously so as to not be found by his familu and is known only by the name the commonfolk have given him: The Singing Blade. The rumors are that right before he strikes the only sound his target hears is the sound of his blade "singing" as it slices through the air and into the heart of his quarry. These are of course rumors and tall tales as no one alive has actually witnessed such a thing. That said, the reputation of the Singing Blade has begun to grow in taverns and pubs across the land of Haven.
Personality quirks: Moody. Sometimes he's up and sometimes he's down. Honor. His word and his sense of right and wrong are unwavering. Peace-keeping. If there is a way to prevent bloodshed without sacrificing his honor he will find it. He has little tolerance for those who actively seek opportunities to exercise violence and brutality as ways to solve conflict. You get what you give and so long as no innocents are at risk he will not prevent a fool from throwing himself on the blade.
Semi-Wish list:
I wear scale armor and wield bastard swords. I will not likely ever change that. So as long as my main weapons are bastard swords and my armor upgrades stay scale, feel free to throw whatever you feel like my way that sounds rangerish. My goal is to have a balance of both power and longevity. Strength is primary. Wisdom is secondary. Dex is necessary only for feat prerequisites. Not big on int/cha at all. Con isn't a dump, but I won't be focusing on it. I'll never be disappointed with random trinkets and utility items. You give it to me and I'll find a way to make it useful.

Ah crap. Didn't notice someone was an Arichmount. Well I can either change it or we can roll with it. It does have some interesting potential and would make my integration interesting because there is a chance Yuriel would recognize Joseph's face. This would not be a problem seeing as neither Yuriel nor Joseph want to attract any more attention to themselves from back home than is necessary. "I won't blab if you won't" kinda thing.
I would suggest that Alina Arichmount is not privy to any knowldege concerning the Arichmount search for the "True King." She has Arichmount blood, but not enough to be a direct heir to the throne unless some serious blood was shed from those above her in line. I'm thinking maybe her father was pure Arichmount blood and her mother was not. I can make more up if necessary, but first I wanna give David the chance to say he's ok with it. If he'd rather not, I can just keep it simple and pick a different family.
Though honestly this sounds like a fun little twist to have two backstories connected without requiring any re-tooling of what we already have. Would cut out a little of the intial "so uh, hey. Nice slayage back there. Hunt bandits round here often?" when a campaign first begins.

And depending on how Yuriel feels about his cousin Alina, he might feel either indifference or anger at Joseph's disappearing act. Even more interesting!

Having intertwined backgrounds is always interesting.
For instance, mine and Gabe's character both owe allegiance to different Archfey. Depending on which one Kaldoren entered into a pact with, there may come a time when he and Keira are at odds with each because of their differing allegiances. Or something like that.

I like the 5-step thing. I'll probably do one too, but PM it to Kyle. I have a few things that are DM eyes only until he decides otherwise.

I'm okay with the connection. I think we should let Kyle decide what Alina knows, since both ways could be interesting.
