You know, in a way it seems out of place to wear one's armor to the local tavern. But when you think about it, it makes total sense: nine times out of ten, the significance of being in the tavern is that there is some serious shit about to go down; very meta. Though, from an RP perspective, perhaps the underlying truth is that survival in a fantasy world requires one to wear their armor to have a drink with their friend. All those other dumbass 'heroes' who didn't wear their armor are dead and only the prudent hero survives. Now, sitting at the table with a fullblade strapped to your back might be prohibitive to comfort and the enjoyment of a pint of mead, so perhaps leaning your big-ass swords against the bar or nearby wall might make some sense, no use being too over-burdened. For instance, Mist (my shifter ranger in scale) was chilling with Gabe's fighter, Cedric, who was also wearing scale, catching up on local news. When faced with the inevitable fact that the place was going to get wrecked in about 10 seconds, I had to consider 'where would I have placed my two bastard swords?' To answer honestly, I wouldn't be wearing them on my back while sitting in the chair I was occupying. But I also wouldn't check them at the door, so I decided that I leaned them against the adjacent wall and that seemed to work out in the end. I suppose the alternative is summoned armor.

Poor Quicksilver... it just goes to show you the power difference between the Marvel and DC universes. Which is why I am a Marvel reader, they are more down to earth and deal with real issues. DC is too iconic and record setting for me.

Holy shit I didn't realize the Craigslist ad was actually real.
Poor single guys. They can't even get some at an orgy. It's like you have to already have some to get more. Like socioeconomic status. The rich get richer. Maybe they should start calling it sociosexualeconomic status.

I had it as my signature pic, but it's kind of large and slows things down.

I think there's one of those ones for an asian knife. And the warning label on the knife, when translated to English, says "Keep out of children."
