My understanding is that the Mul are a half-human/half-dwarf race. Furthermore, the role of the half-giants will be filled by the goliaths.
I don't know anything about the themes, though.

Don't really know where to put this... but here it is. The lesson here is... FOCUS FIRE!

^That picture is straight out of the Player's Strategy Guide, which I picked up a couple weeks ago. Most of the info in there most of us already know in one form or another. It's kinda nice to see it explicitly laid out. I just read a little section on controllers the other night and it was pretty handy. Maybe my next char will be a controller.
The guide also has some good info on building your character's personality and ways that you can share that at the table. It's more than just stats and tactics.

Was anyone aware of this webpage? www.obsidianportal.com/It's a blog/wiki for cataloging campaigns. You create a page for a campaign and then players can create their characters complete with an online 4E character sheet and a place for backstory. Each blog post, character, NPC, homebrew locale created gets its own wiki page so it seems really nice for organizing what goes down during a session. It seems almost priceless for a homebrew campaign for keeping track of NPCs and events. Dunno how much this would overlap with what our forums provide for us, but it seems like a pretty powerful organizational tool for a campaign. Almost like each adventure gets its own little spot on the interwebs. Anyways, take a gander at what this provides and look at the mini tutorials imbedded into the site after you sign up to see what it can offer you guys. It looks really easy to use.

Thanks for the link to obsidian portal. I've been checking it out. I really like the wiki style format, because it allows you to link to other pages very easily. Say you are reading an entry on the local city. Within is described the political leaders and other factions. Those can all be links to other pages with their own entries. Also, with the free account, one can upload one map for all to see. It's zoomable, and one can place markers on it (google format style), so you can see where everything is. Each character can have his/her own page as well, and there is an adventure journal. It's pretty cool, and I'm considering it for my next game. Oh, and Micah - nope, I've never heard of Rubicon.
