The Dark Ritual atop the spires of Castle Ravenloft has been stopped, catastrophe averted?
If it were successful, well then what? Who really cares? No one has of yet attempted to learn what was truly going on at that dark hour...and so...
You all spend the next few days and weeks exploring the now virtually empty corridors and rooms of the castle, looting while no authority lays claim to the throne of Barovia, with Strahd gone there is no rightful heir to his throne.. or is there?
Droz is still missing, presumed dead, his outline is still a charred scar upon the grassy knoll that is the Swamp Fane. He is gone, but like so many before.. shal he too be forgotten?
Les, a Dwarven Fighter of the Ismore clan was freed from the clutches of the Night Hag, of the Mountain Fane, who knows what suffering awaited him if he had succumbed to her perilous gaze. Indeed, he was rescued in a most timely manner. But who is this Les and where did he come from...

With Strahd gone, no more, the task of clearing the castle begins.
I have simplified this as some of the things in the castle are gone by the fact that they were held there or dwelled in the dark recess of this plane because of Strahd's hold over them or his harboring them. The wraiths, ghosts, Undead etc have fled into Khyber away from the pervading light that now shines on the realm. The Lycanthropes and other stuff in the woods, well thats another matter.
So in the castle after clearing has revealed some items of note. There is a vault for coin treasure which Graaktor will have to keep filled for such things as running the kingdom, so all the monetary treasure I have dumped in there, its a must. Sactle and kingdom upkeep is quite expensive.
Here's the rest for you all to do with as you wish: Jewllery= 2x 1000gp 3x 750gp 4x 600gp 6x 450gp 8x 250gp 12x 150gp 15x 100gp
Gems= 1x 500gp 4x 200gp 9x 100gp
Weapons: If any character has need of a +1 magical weapon please make it so, only one though. The Castle Armory needs to remain stocked with plenty weapons and there are a lot of +1 magical weapons of many types so take one for each weapon your character actually will put to use, ie 1 Melee & 1 Ranged.
Here's the rest: 1. Legendary Sunsword (Artifact) (Graaktor) (I will PM the details, there are many).

3. Thundering Mace +2 (phb p.236)
Armor: Again there are many sets of +1 Magic Armor, if you dont get any from the list below please choose one set your character will use and make it +1.
1. Vampire Hide +3 Leather Armor, Grants Immunity: Disease, Resist 5 Necrotic.
2. Dwarven Armor +2 Scale (phb p.229)
3. Eladrin Armor +2 Chain (phb p.230)
4. Trollskin +3 Hide (phb p.231)
Magic Items: 1. Ring of Wizardry 2. Ring of Turning (adds +1d10 to Turning Damage) 3. Ring of Death Prevention (Prevents 1 Death effect, daily power) 4. Ring of the Righteous (Daily Power: std. action, +25hp temporary & +4 Sacred bonus to Strength Dur=10 minutes) 5. Warlock Codex 6. Focus Orb +2 (Implement) 7. Ghost Hood (Daily Power; std. action, See Invisible Dur=30mins) 8. Heart of the Red Dragon Talisman (Daily Power; Std. action, Immunity to Fire, Vulnerability to Cold(full damage), Dur=7mins) 9. Holy Symbol of Ravenkind (Platinum amulet shaped like the Sun) When worn by Good, grants sacred +4 will bonus. When worn by Good Cleric, also grants +4 turn bonus & emits Light spell 3x3x3 squares for 1 round. When worn by Evil, lose 2 levels temproary and -2 to all Def.

Graaktor will claim the ring of the righteous and the amulet of health. (btw what is the bonus on the amulet of health? it can have 1-6)
Furthermore he also takes the liber blaspheme and warlock codex. Not for personal use of course, but to lock away in the keep's deepest darkest vault. He does not allow anyone to read or in anyway benefit from such terrible sources of evil.
