We have a new influx of players into the group.
The last time I let the players know of my rules as DM was via email so I will now put it up here for everyone to reference and adhere to. I have shortened them to 2 rules.
D&D is about having Fun. If your not having fun your doing something wrong and/or possibly playing with the wrong group for you and your playstyle.
These simple rules are to govern fair play and keep game play flowing. When I DM I really dislike when a player or players slow or stop the game flow by their actions that are usually their interpretation of the core mechanics of the game or their disruptive play style.
1. Disruptive play style will not be tolerated.
We all know this in its many forms, its usually defined as being an ass. Don't do it, if you do I will warn you once if you do it again I will ask you to leave my game.
2. Rules lawyering.
We are all guilty of this at one point or another until we get the idea that its the DM who is the rules lawyer, Judge and Jury.
The DM runs the game all rules come under DM interpretation, if you dont like it go find another group. While I may not be an expert at the rules, while I may not have perfect memory or understanding of the rules and the game, I am DM. I am taking my time to write up Adventures, story lines, plot arcs, NPC's, Monsters, Treasures, Campaign worlds to entertain you the player, please be respectful of that and try to play the game for fun in the setting I am presenting.
