If anyone has Robert's phone number would you please send him a text regarding this weekend's game (7 March), or send me his phone number so that I may do so. It doesn't appear that he has been checking the boards recently. Thanks.

It will be my turn to run a game this weekend. Though, I believe we will be short players. Robert won't make it, because he comes only every two weeks. David will be out of town. JP is studying for finals. So this leaves two players - Phil and Mike.
I don't want to run Revenge with so many players gone. What would you like to do, Phil? I'm happy running a one-off short for two players - or if you had an itch to DM a game like that I'd also be happy to play. If not, we can just cancel this weekend's game and I can pick up next weekend when everyone returns.

i really don't have anything set for such a low amount of players. if you have dungeon delve we could run something out of that. Perhaps check with the guild to see if they have one of those wednesday encounter modules to see if we could try it? Or we could take the day off.

I can prep something for some made up characters. I'm thinking two level seven characters. This will give you a chance to try something new from PHB3.

After some thought. I think we'll go with Revenge of the Giants, anyway. I want to keep the game going. It will work out.

So I plan on keeping the adventure going this Sunday. What's coming up is fairly exciting. It's good that we picked up another player - just in time.

watching kyle just stare sadly at the initiative tracker after Ceramis(Gabe) invoker bombed the board... priceless...
and it will get even worse once he hits 16, lol, he'll average more damage than me on a single attack.

That was me trying to keep track of all his damage to the different targets in my head.

heh. my bad. i'll bring my own notepad next time to keep track of everything. or at least help. There was one point in that last encounter where i could've given 2 monsters 10 vulnerability (one of my channel divinity powers actually increases vulnerabilty too) and 2 monsters 5 vulnerability. but I didn't wanna keep track of that, and i Wouldn't wanna subject Kyle to that. I would also like to point out that at lvl 16, only my hand of radiance really gets that much ridiculously better. that and its much easier for me to set up my own....bombing of the board as phil calls it.

lol its funny that my fighter can still somewhat hold aggro i guess against ure attacks gabe...if i was the DM id say fuck the -2 penalty to attacks and go after ure ass lol Wow. Of all the grammatical errors in this post, I will point out one. Both instances of the short hand for 'your' (you, possessive) are misspelled as 'ure'. Perhaps this is shorthand for 'you're' (you are, contraction), which would not make sense in this context. My only conclusion is that Robert failed 3rd grade English. Wow.

I wasn't going to say anything but I was blinded by the "ure" as well.
Anyways. IMHO, all monsters can just ignore your mark, take a little bit of damage from your Combat Superiority and beat the shit out of anyone they want. Kyle has just been a bit nicer about it.

Hey Kyle. Thanks for letting me join your game and smash a few heads but I'm positive that I'll have to graciously bow out. Gas money isn't easy to come by nowadays and my parents want me to choose either Saturday or Sunday to go to the guild and as you know I DM Saturdays. Also, I plan on graduating this June, barring one summer quarter of Spanish, so I'd like to tone down my DnD a bit.
Thanks again. If there are still games running this summer or fall at the guild I'd love to pick up again when I'm done with school and have a job myself.
