It's not like I don't know how to use the world wide webs, but a link would be convenient. I won't hold it against you, though, it seems like you were tired based upon the grammar. It really is. Amazing look to the game now!

It's the free graphics update they debuted in their last patch. If your computer can handle it on Ultra mode max settings the game, the PCs and NPCs in particular, are actually very nice too look at now. Most of the comparison shots online focus on the environment, but it's the battles where Ultra Mode really shines.
Plus you can customize the color of your powers. Green fire, blue lightning, pink ice, whatever you want!

Looks like they took a hint from Champions Online with the power colors.

I never did like this franchise, even disregarding the graphics. Controls always felt too clunky to me.

I don't know if I'll be playing DC universe. I generally prefer original creations than licensed universes. The only exception was KOTOR but that felt more a lot more well developed than the Episodes I-III. Plus it was Bioware. Bioware never fails.
Maybe because I haven't played CoX since it started when the controls might have been worse, but they seem just as good as any other mmo I've played. Unless you're a clicker. In which case I see your point. The button animations are a little distracting if you're clicking a lot. But then again, if you are a clicker is there really any reason why you would ever stop playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure in the first place?

To me CoH/CoV is like a roller coaster ride. It's fun on the way down, but boring on the way up. It's really fun when I leave the game and come back (which I've done several times), but after about a month of playing it gets boring. The innovation factor of creating your hero wears off as there is lack of end game content.
Don't get me wrong though, defending the city from a giant octopus is loads of fun, but eventually it becomes a clusterf*ck of powers going off in confined corridors or in the middle of nowhere. You literally get lost in the wow factor of the game when walls of fire are raging amidst a hurricane storm that is happening during an eruption of earthquakes that are shaking the ground while being littered with bolts of lighting streaking across the battlefield.
That being said, it would be cool if we could get a couple of us playing on a weekly basis. Like on a Sunday night or something. The sidekick/mentoring system is perfect for this kind of thing as we all might play at different paces and reach higher levels faster, but come that one night we can sync down/up to the party level and have a blast for a few hours.
I'd be down if we can get about 3 or 4 of us playing. Just another way to pass the time until FFXIV comes out for me.

I feel the same way Stephen. Ultra mode makes it a shiny new toy again, but probably in three months I'll be out. Mostly because I don't make friends much anymore online since I don't play a ton. No more drunken ventrillo nights like in my hardcore WoW days.
Though I will say I am looking forward to the new Expansion. Demon summoning looks sick for the few people I've seen who have it via pre-order and I'm really excited about the new alignment system and being able to "cross over."
Sunday night is bad for me, but I'd be down some other night once a week. I'm loving my new sonic/rad corruptor. Heals + debuffs + amplify makes even computer generated bad guys cry.

i stopped playing the game because of the fact that it was imbalanced. If you chose a class, you had to be a certain type of that class to deal the most damage or be the most useful in pvp or pve.
That isn't to say I didn't enjoy customizing my characters or playing the characters with the bad picks. Oh Android bots that had megaman weapons... But I hate knowing that I couldn't play a class the way that I wanted to and be good.
Skill should always be the defining factor in gaming.

That I can't argue with. When it comes to video games it's my personal taste that I'd rather it not involve skill and yes CoX is fairly low on skill. Things are much more balanced though now. Especially redside. There are very few bad sets anymore. Some are better than others, but unlike in games like WoW nobody is gonna kick you for picking an unpopular spec. For example, if you go corrupter you can't go wrong. Pick sets completely at random and even if you aren't the best in the group you will still be kicking plenty of ass.
But there is still not much skill involved. My job is a fairly fast paced job so when I want to play games if there is skill involved it better be "slow" paced. i.e. a pause button or at the table with friends. This is why I have never been amazing at fighting games or FPS. I have no desire to get good at those games.
So yeah. CoX not for everyone. For those who like the mindless clusterfuck of explosions however... it's pretty sweet.

This is an honest question, but isn't WoW like that with the skill trees or whatever they had. If you choose Warrior, didn't you have to take a certain path to be considered good in PvP and then something else to be good in PvE?

You have to take a certain path to be top-tier, but skill still is still the biggest factor. I have seen people with some of the best gear in the game beat out by people who have some of the worst gear out there. Same can be said of talent point builds.
