POWER LEVEL: 10
STYLE: DARK
__________________________________________________________________
The power level and style in M&M will determine the feel of the game, and I want to know what you all want to play. You can pick two options, so vote on a PL and a Style.
----------------------------------------------------------
PL8 - Masked Adventurers
Think "Watchmen" for this PL. At this level, you will mostly rely on your wits and skills with a super power here or there. Threats at this level would include things like taking down a corrupt organization or police force, solving murder mysteries, stopping gang wars or drug trafficking. Adventures you would see the likes of Batman and Daredevil taking on.
PL10 - Super Heroes
Think "Teen Titans" and "Young Justice". Not necessarily being young of age or inexperienced, more the fact that you are recognized as a Super Hero but you know there is a tier of super hero above you. Threats in the category will be teams of opposing super villains following their own agenda: super powered bank robberies, wanton destruction of a city, a mad scientists evil plot, etc.
PL12 - Big Leagues
Very similar to PL10, but that next tier higher. Instead of the Teen Titans, now think Justice League or the Avengers. Same kind of threats, but with bigger guns.
PL14 - World Protectors
Threats at this level would be alien invasions, villainous plots that threaten the entire world, massive natural disasters, etc. Tasks suitable for the high end of the Justice League or the Cosmic level heroes of Marvel, heroes like: Thor, Superman, Green Lantern, Nova, Silver Surfer
Light
Everything is straight forward, the good guys are the good guys and the bad guys are the bad guys. Essentially how D&D is normally played "Hey... I... I think I see orcs over there, let's go kill them without asking questions *charge*"
Dark
This allows for a greater depth and realism, consequences to your actions and all. Intense moral dilemmas and conflicts, such as supporting a corrupt government that provides order and stability against the rebels who would bring it down, or going outside the law to deal with vile criminals the justice system can’t reach. The line between hero and villain may blur (again think of Watchmen).
Greyscale
More like a Dark-lite, there are still some moral decisions to be made and consequences to actions taken but it won't be as "game-changing" as it would be in a Dark style.
