Sure. Corellon is an astral sea entity who is patron of your city and people. Lolth is a fiendish creature and enemy of Corellon imprisoned in the depths of Khyber, who often uses corrupted drow or elves as her agents. However, note that Caiphon is a far-realm presence whose influence leaks into the world.

However, note that Caiphon is a far-realm presence whose influence leaks into the world. Sounds good. Is it permissable to reflavor Caiphon as Corellon? That is, Aeron'eth has already made a pact with the entity, Corellon, and as his power grows, new ways of wielding that power are bestowed to him. I'm not to keen on attempting to justify why Aeron'eth would heed the words of some entity from Xoriat, considering what he already thinks he knows. What experience or change does adopting the Student of Caiphon PP need to represent? A pact with an additional entity (Caiphon), a new revelation in the relation with Aeron'eth's patron (Corellon), etc. I was thinking of reflavoring Student of Caiphon to represent Aeron'eth's revelation that there is a deeper relationship with his patron than he'd previously known and renaming the PP "Scion of the Azure Star".

I think that Caiphon would have to remain Caiphon. The features and powers of that paragon path, which often do damage to you or your allies, don't seem to me to be suited to Corellon, unless you can explain why Corellon is so hungry.
I would allow you to take this path nonetheless if that is the way you want to go, but it would definitely have consequences for Aeron'eth and the party.
Edit: Note that if you do decide on this path, Aeron'eth needn't be a willing servant of Caiphon, but is more likely infected somehow by its creeping madness.

That's why I wanted to reflavor the PP. I haven't really fleshed it out so I don't have any details, but I do have some concepts that I think would work. Consequences beyond those prescribed in the PP itself? My plan is to leave the mechanics the same but change the fluff thus retaining all of the benefits and consequences.

Here's an idea: is it possible that Aeron'eth's exposure to the visions in the Garden of Graves, the room that exists in multiple planes, and his star pact have caught the eye of Caiphon?

Which Paragon Path are you considering?
Gwenn will be taking the Blade Dancer Paragon path when she reaches 11. If she reaches 11. I'm still two nearly two levels behind most everyone else.

Looks good. I'd like you to switch strength and wisdom. Aeron'eth's good perception score has been a plot point.

I am very thankful the questions asked and answered on this thread. Initially, I too thought that the idea was that we were being warped by the mists of time. If such was the case, I tinkered around with the idea that maybe in this new, alternate reality, Jozan had not been such an obvious coward. Instead of being a cleric in the army of Breland, he was a warlord. And in response to being devoured by that dreaded devourer, instead of becoming a pacifist cleric, he instead put down his sword, and picked up a bow. However after reading this thread, it would seem that the RP behind this respec doesn't work exactly as it would need to in order for my conversion of cleric -> warlord to make sense. But all is well, for I am still more than happy to continue playing Jozan the Cleric. =)
As for things changing with Jozan, more likely than not, I'll see if I can boost wis/cha to the next available mod boost, or increase intelligence for higher reflex defense. Still dumping dex of course, I rather like the idea that Jozan is super clumsy.
Also there are two powers I would like to discuss with you David, both are Dragon powers.
The first is Reverent Mettle: Level 10 Utility Encounter Immediate Interrupt Close Burst 5 Trigger: An ally within 5 squares of you takes damage from an attack. Effect: Reduce the triggering attack's damage by 5 + your Cha modifier. Special: When you use your Channel Divinity power (Healer's Mercy in Jozan's case) you may regain the use of Reverent Mettle.
The second is Sonnlinor's Hammer: (this would replace lance of faith) Level 1 At-Will Melee Weapon One target Wisdom vs Ac On hit: 1[W] damage and the next attack a target makes before the end of you next turn takes a penalty to the damage roll equal to your charisma modifier.
Just wanted to check if both of those were ok with you David.

Gabe, at the least roll some stats for Jozan instead of using the array; you'd be doing yourself and the group a service.
